Four Generations

A family tradition dating to the 1890s.

Ronald grew up in a family of painters and decorators. The trade passed from his great-grandfather to his grandfather, father and then to Ronald, giving him an early understanding of what careful handwork should look like before it ever became his profession.

That family foundation grew into a career focused on decorative painting, murals and architectural finishes.

Training

Traditional techniques, studied at the source.

Ronald expanded on the family trade through advanced study in the United States and Europe, including Italian lime plaster, scagliola, fresco, painted marble, wood graining and gilding.

The goal has never been technique for technique’s sake. The finish has to belong to the architecture and hold up at close range.
